Ungureanu coat of arms

Two Lines, One Family

Our Family

Our Roots

Our roots come from the Levinsky family on our mother's side and the Ungureanu family on our father's side. Our grandfather left Romania in 1914 and worked in Canada and the United States until the First World War ended. He earned a great deal, returned home, and purchased homes and land — leaving a great inheritance to his daughter, Elisaveta Levisky Ungureanu, our mother.

Our father was born in 1907 and passed away in 2002. He was a dedicated Christian from the age of 23 until 93. Our mother was born in 1912 and passed away in 1999. Together they raised eight children: two daughters, Ana and Maricica, and six boys, George, Dumitru, Mihai, Vasile, Costica, and Cornell. They lost one child in infancy, named Aurel.

We are all American citizens, and we are very glad to be here.
